The Argon ONE V3 M.2 NVME Case unlocks the full potential of the Raspberry Pi 5 by incorporating M.2 NVME expansion support. This case allows users to boot their Raspberry Pi 5 from an M.2 NVME drive, significantly enhancing system speed and storage capacity. It features a built-in heatsink specifically designed for M.2 NVME drives to ensure optimal cooling and prolonged efficiency.

Compatible with any M.2 NVME with an M-Key up to 2280 size, the case ensures excellent thermal management and reliable data transfer with its included FPC impedance controlled cable. The Argon ONE V3 now also boasts an upgraded design to support Raspberry Pi 5, complete with a new sleek black finish.

Enhancements include better active cooling with a repositioned blower-type PWM programmable 30mm fan for quieter and more effective operation. It also improves passive cooling by adding a heatsink on the power management chip, along with the CPU, to handle the heat generated during heavy use.

The case integrates with the Raspberry Pi’s RP2040 chip for advanced communication and power management, including fan speed and power management state controls. These can be adjusted by setting jumper pins inside the case for flexible usage. The power button, located at the back, supports safe shutdown, reboot, and forced shutdown via an open-sourced script.

For multimedia enthusiasts, the case features a built-in IR receiver, making it an excellent media center when used with the Argon IR remote. Additionally, an optional 3.5mm audio jack can be added through an internal DAC audio board upgrade. Cable management is neatly handled with two full-sized HDMI ports at the back, enabling the use of dual monitors simultaneously. The top of the case provides easy access to GPIO pins with a sleek magnetic cover.
